1. What type of image management is there?

2. How customizable is the look? Is each part of the layout broken down in to variables? (ie. Article Title, Summary, Article Text, etc)

3. Can the comments be turned off or moderated? Do they have a word filter/swear filter?

4. Is there an admin demo?

1. Image management is integrated in WYSIWYG editor, apart from separate upload field for an abstract image.

2. Exactly. Each segment has its own template (i.e. show_comments_form.tpl, article_comment.tpl, show_breadcrumbs.tpl, etc). Therefore it is very easy to customize entire look & feel of the layout within the administration area.

3. Comments can be controlled for individual articles (on/off) and moderated from the administration area. Bad words filter is due to be implemented in next version.

Are images handled seperately from each article or saved into their own directory? Say if I use an image in one article, can I use the same images in others or will I have to upload the same image every time I post a different article that I want to put it in?

Images are stored in separate folder, therefore can be used over and over again. So the answer to your question is - yes, you can use same image in as many articles as you want.

Oh, and can captions be added to images?
Of course, you can do that easily from WYSIWYG editor.
