Display More Article Words Before 'full Story' . .

I would like to know if there is a way to adjust the number of words shown on an article (not the category page) before it displays 'full story . . . '.

I see in admin settings preferences that you can adjust the number of words shown in HEADLINES section - but nothing for ARTICLES.

Am I missing something, or can it be adjusted somewhere else? If so, which file?

running v3.1 on a Unix platform

In Admin>Preferences>General, change "Max. number of word on latest news:"

I think that's what you're referring to.

I have this artikle which is to long to meny words and I had to breake it on 3 to posted cos woulden go throgh.

How is this done in Vivvo 4.0?

Is there any way simply to make it the first paragraph of the story, regardless of the number of words?
