I'm glad to hear so, as these boxes are becoming "Hot Fashion" in most modern news & media sites. See the attached images for cool samples of such boxes, also these would free more space for the other elements on the page.

The newly added templates are great. Template 1050 utilizes the space in the best way for news websites. I suppose Vivvo 4 templates will even utilize the page space in a better way to show more blocks, such as Video/Audio links from specified categories in the site, useful external snippets (Weather, News Feeds, etc.), Google Adsense and other classifieds.
