Error while connection to database. No database selected

Hi,

What is that in the name of God please: Error while connection to database. No database selected!!! :eek:

I get this message at once without any warning! What is the matter? and why no database selected? How coming that? And will I get this message again in the future? my website now sure cannot be display! PLEASE help!

This is very strange.
Did you modified something on your site?
I suggest that you submit a support ticket so the vivvo support staff can take a look into this.

I hope actually that this really strange is, and nobody have't before, because really I am now worry and wonder if that will happen again to me or to someone else. It likes (I don't hope!) a hacker!!!

And not I didn't modified anything on my site, exept I put some spaces between the two columns in Latest news (like what you Micha told me how!) and I saw it, but after few minutes I wanted to go to admin and I saw this error, and then refresh the page of my site and comes the same error message!
That's all!
And the horrible things here is I haven't backup for the conf.php and config.php, they are completely empty, and I am untill now didn't run my site live! and just test it, and just because that I haven't backup.

I don't think that this is a work of hackers, because they usually leave some signature (hacked by: SOMEONE) or image.

I'm sure that support staff will do their best to solve this issue and restore your configuration files.

Ooooooh! They did't, the Vivvo support team are great really, but it was really nightmare, because untill now the own question is: why is that happen? or why the conf.php and config.php were empty? how can that happen?

It's coming again! This Error while connection to database. No database selected, but now in the Headline news in the home page, it show just one article and then display this error.

I upload the config.php and conf.php files, but still the same error display :confused:

Any suggestion please!!? AND PLEASE WHY THAT HAPPEND?

I came this morning again to work as usual, and I open my site and without any problem with database connection! :p

The question is here also WHY THAT HAPPEND? and who solve this problem? I mean if the support team did that, then they will leav a message for me! Is that not really strange!?

I had this problem and sometimes it happens again. it generalyy happens when you remove one of the headlines but I dont do something special for this problem. when I refresh the page it works as normal :)

Have you deleted the installer from your ftp?
