E-mail preferences

To enter outgoing mail preferences for your website go to: Secondary administrative menu -> preferences -> e-mail -> e-mail options

• Send mail from - Choose which e-mail address will show as the sender.

  

• Send Mail CC and Send mail BCC - Enter addresses to which you want to copies to be sent.

  

• Email flood check - In this field specify how much time (in seconds) must elapse before a user may send consecutive emails. Set to 0 to disable this flood check.

  

• SMTP or PHP mail() function - SMTP stands for Simple Mail Transfer Protocol. SMTP is used by mail servers so they can work out the correct routes to ensure messages reach their intended recipients.

  In this form, PHP mail() function or SMTP choose which mailer you wish to use: PHP mail function or SMTP Server.

  

• SMTP Host - If you have enabled SMTP mail, please define mail server parameters.

  

• SMTP port - This is a port used by an email client to connect to an email server. Default port is 25

  

• SMTP username - If you have enabled SMTP mail and your server requires authentication, please specify your username here.

  

• SMTP password - Here you should enter a password - ideally a mixture of numbers, letters, and symbols.

  

Register new member template

You are able to change the subject of confirming email message that the new registered member will receive. Use the text box displayed bellow to change the default mail content.

Email to a friend template

You are allowed to modify the default message in the e-mail to a friend form. Change only the parts you want, the subject, body or both.

Forgot password template

This template defines the e-mail message that is sent when a customer indicates that he's lost his password. The data you enter in the subject field and in the text box will be included into e-mail.
