Automatically update your Twitter status with your most recent published articles.
Description
This plug-in will automatically update your Twitter status with your most recent published articles, which will save valuable time spent in manual updating. You have the option to turn the auto update on/off for the different categories in the admin panel.
Usage
Plug-in automatically updates status on Twitter account(s) after you have published an article. No any new steps had to be done when publishing article (you only need to have Twitter Updater properly configured).
Here is an example of status on Twitter updated from Vivvo CMS:
Pre-installation Steps
Before you install plugin you must create Twitter Application.
Please note that Aplication Type option needs to be set to Client, and Default Access type to Read & Write.
How to Install?
To install Twitter Updater plug-in you need to click on the install icon on the right side of the plug-in name.
This will take you to the page where you will enter required details in order to continue with installation.
You can obtain first two keys (Consumer Key and Consumer Secret) from Application detail section, and second two (OAuth Token and OAuth Secret) from My Access Token section after you successfully have created Twitter Application.
To obtain Bit.ly Login, you must firs create Bit.ly account here.
After you created your account, you can get your Bit.ly Api key here.
When you are done with this step click on Finish button and you will be informed that the plug-in was successfully installed.
Access
The path to the Twitter Updater plug-in:
Click on Plug-ins link (which is located in the second level Menu on the right side at the top of your administrator panel).
Choose Twitter Updater plug-in from the list of all installed plug-ins (on the left side of the screen).
User level
This plug-in can be accessed only by users belonging to groups that are allowed to manage Twitter Updater plug-in.
Actions
If needed, you can change plug-in preferences on the plug-ins page in Vivvo administration panel.
All settings you set during installation can be edited and updated. When done just click on Save button.
